Update on the build, nearly finished with the DT, it is an exercise in patience.

DT in cooler weather does take a fair while to go off.

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

Finally lost patience with DT top coats, taking way too long to dry properly here in Brisbane. I have now done about 4 coats of wipe on poly in the gloss and very happy with the feel and shine. Need to do a wet and dry cut next and a few more coats to call done. I think I will do the engineered fretboard too, as not overly happy with it.

Well, life has got in the way of this build, but i am finally in the last stages of wiring, at the end i realised i had neglected to run a wire from the bridge post to earth on the tone pot. Anyone got a good tip on how to remove the TOM posts without damaging the finish? I thought i remembered seeing a post on this but i cant find it.

All sorted now, with a bit of bush engineering and some brute force with a jimmy bar the sleeve was extracted without damage.
