Spalted Maple LP. Build #2 for djefster

Well, here we go.
I've had this kit since Christmas. It was actually my Xmas present to myself.

I've done heaps of "practice" on other projects like my 1st build, a Thinline Tele kit from Pitbull. That one came out pretty well and I'm now just playing it in for a while before I get it professionally set up.... but it actually feels good and the electronics work so I'm stoked!

So here it is!

I thought I'd do a little fashion show to try to decide what hardware to use.





Still undecided so I've ordered some gold hardware to compare. I'll make the final decision after staining.

The colour you stain it will have a big impact on what looks good re the hardware. Just on face value at the moment, the black pickup rings with the chrome bridge isn't sitting right with me in those photos.

And began 1st coat of DT natural stain.



You can see the difference just one coat has made compared to the sides.

Hi Djefster, we have moved this thread to the non-PitBullGuitars forum, as this is not one of our kits.

Great looking kit, but we no longer sell LP kits, even by custom order.
