Yeah, I think considering the build you can do what you like. I like where you are going so far.
    Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
    Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

I'm gonna disagree with that. T'was after scoring a strat copy that I realised it sat so much better in playing position.

Therefore it's function against form in this instance.

    cheers, Mark.

Edit: BTW good to see another strat/tele project...mine's a bit simpler though.

Jeff Beck thought it necessary to put a forearm bevel on the front and a belly cut on the back of his '54 Esquire in 1965.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm going to go with the forearm bevel, but rather than rounding it like a strat body I'll try to get a flat piece sanded off at and angle, as I think this might look better on the angular Tele body. Probably won't do the rear bevel as I have a squire Tele and that shape doesn't bother me.
    More sanding!!!

Don't let any Kiwi's get started on the 40 year old lawn bowls incident, something they will never forget. That one was probably a more unforgivable crime but this latest one had more than 3 guilty parties in on it.

You mean Dr. No sending a helmet onto the ground wasn't an accidental co-incidence?

    oops it's gone off topic.

    cheers, Mark.
