G'day all !

I'm really happy to join you in this great adventure of BYO bass guitar

My name is Sylvain, I'm french and I'm a big big (even more) newbie arround here..
As you know, french aren't good english speaker.. let me know if you can't understand me !

To be honest, I'm a little scared about building a bass but I promess to do my best...
I know nothing is impossible : I brew my own beer (and sometimes it tastes good )

Here's my story :
I'm a bass player for a long time, and a (bad) sax player. I used to play bass in bands : metal, funk, reggae and lately rock (we made a clip if you're interested !)

I own a few basses, but mostly to play rock or funk..

The other day I was studying my II-V-I, and I thought "I need a jazz bass damn it!!".
Sooo, I search Internet and Wow ! I can build it myself !
This is how I ordered the ESB-4 semi hollow ! I really had a crush on this one.. even if it's not the easiest to mount..

My plan is to manage to build it and have a great sound.. If so, I'm certain I will order some differents models and why not customise mics and colors !
