Body looks great Grubsta. Can't wait to see how the neck turned out.
    Cheers, Waz

Thanks for the positive feedback guys much appreciated. Here's the neck and body together for a bit of a comparison.
The neck is still a bit lighter in color its only had 2 light coats of TO over the top so far I'm kinda hoping the TO might darken it a little more no big deal if it doesn't though.

Quick update guys on the artist bullbuckers that I just have to share.

I recently changed the tone pots to 1meg from 500k. And left the volume pots st 500k.
It is now totally gorgeous. Really really gorgeous.
The sound change is so dramatic.
I have gone from just liking the tones a lot to absolutely loving it.

    Anyway. Hope this helps someone.

No worries. And don’t forget to add in treble bleeds on the volume pots!!

    Thanks guys.
So time for me to give a bit of a wrap up on this kit.
For price this is a pretty decent kit and probably would be good for a first time builder for an experienced builder you would find this kit a walk in the park, all holes are pre drilled and from what i understand they are also pre assembled and scale length and neck fit and alignment are checked before they are sold so you could pretty much put it together right out if the box.
So there's not a lot you really need to do besides the finish, the neck comes already finished in a clear satin so if your happy with the natural maple look you don't even have to do anything with that either.
All wiring is plug in and you can fit it pretty quick and easily.
The downsides for me but not deal breakers.
Some of the pre-drilled holes were off a little for the pickup rings and truss rod cover and made it difficult to position them correctly, the bridge pickup ring holes were drilled too far forward and you can see a slight amount of the pickup cavity underneath and I was also missing 4 screws out the kit so I had to find replacements.
While it was handy having the wiring pre done it was also a bit of a nuisance, there is an excessive amount of wire in the harness and it is much longer than you need, I know its better to have too much rather than not enough but if you want a nice neat wiring job you will need to shorten it up a bit.
The humbuckers sound ok pretty much what you would expect considering the price of the kit not horrible but not jaw dropping either and worth upgrading along with all the pots. The 2 volume pots seem to drop off sharply at lower volume so I'm not sure what the cause is with that.
The tuners are average and also worth an upgrade.
All in all though I managed to put together a nice guitar for around $200.
Im going to stick to pitbull kits I think but if you want to build a cheap Lp style guitar this kit is worth a look.
