    New toys for the FrankenLab!

Igor is doing backflips as Santa, in the personage of the Bride’s Father, has presented the lab with an early Christmas present

Woohoo! I’ve been looking into the ‘Men’s Shed’ this week and as valuable a service they provide and a great range of equipment, I could buy a 500W hobby bench top drill press for the same cost as the $100 annual membership fee. I know what Santa will be bringing DarkMark if he stays on the ‘Nice List’. That looks like a nice piece of equipment you’ve scored yourself there FrankenWashie.

Yup, he got me a mortising kit with it as well, so it is a very chuffed FrankenLab at present.
i still need to level it up and DynaBolt it to the floor so that it’s all solid and immovable.

Either that is a very tall drill press or the ceiling height is lower than standard 2400mm? Probably explains why Igor is a hunchback?

It’s a converted undercroft space Waz, the bottom of the joists is only just over 6’ height. Perils of a house built in 1892.
