    So these came today

Not sure when I’ll get to it but should be fun...

    Probably some time next week.

I think choosing a headstock shape is the most difficult part of this whole process. It really has me scratching my head. I don’t want it to look like a Strat copy but buggered if I can come up with something that will work.
Maybe the same shape I used on the Tele?

YEah its always a tough ask.You go too weird and it looks wrong, you go too traditional and it can look passé.
It’s amazing how programmed to certain shapes we have become and how difficult and jarring it can be to do something totally different.

It is amazing just how hard it is to get right! Same goes for the overall guitar shape. Its a very fine line.

I like what you've done Rockfactor. Has a certain 80's vibe to it. Personally I like seeing stuff that's pushing the envelope a bit, but still in tune with the overall guitar.

Thanks. I was looking at the Tele one I did and it kinda looks a bit like a dragons head from certain angles so went with the same style.

Now I can get to getting some colour sorted out

Mmmm...nice. I reckon that burgundy colour would work great.
