I have since fitted ALPHA 250k pots, a better 5 way switch and a set of Stewmack Golden Age pickups (6K neck and middle 7.6 bridge)

Very happy with the result. Pickups sound great, tone for the neck and bridge are linked so all pickups now have controls and the 50's style gibson wiring reduces treble loss as you roll off the volume.

I love this! What a great idea. Are you going to add some mass to the back of the body to balance it?
I'd love to know how this sounds through an amp compared with a full bodied model with the same pickups. Have you done a direct comparison?

Being a FIFO myself, this is fantastic. I might have to hit you up for some advice

Clever idea. As someone who misses his guitar when I have to travel I really like this concept, not to forget visually interesting.

I am thinking I need to steal this idea, I really like the look of it and would fit in the car on road trips with the family. The clear finish is smart too so no worries with chips and light scrapes.

That is really cool in a slightly weird but very practical way. Well done!
