It's only happened once, in 2014. I wouldn't hold my breath, haha.

Well thats interesting. I was only really here for half of last year, but there have been some pretty memorable guitars.

For some reason I can't get Teamjeffos' first build out of my head. There is nothing about it that specifically appeals to me, I'm not into hollowbodies, or blue, but it just speaks to me.

Pablos SG junior was also great.

There was a 'warlock' style guitar - I can't remember the builder, in a red and black finish which was next level.

There have been a couple of really nice Dedman specials as well.

Now that I start thinking about it, I'm glad I'm not judging....
    Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
    Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

Yep - ran it last year, but from memory there were only 50 odd votes - I'll talk to Adam - see what his thoughts are...

I'm for it if the Community wants it. As BP said, the response last year was a tad underwhelming, so I didn't think there was much interest this year.

Can we just have the PBG Kit Builds? This would make it simpler for everyone. Also, I can only see 2 entries in the GOTY Non-PBG Build... I think we would need at least 4 or 5.

And is the format the 12 Winners of GOTM Jan - Dec 17 (these would be kits built in Dec 16 to Nov 17). Is that right?

Brendan has suggested we run it on Facebook, which I think is a good idea. However, I suggest we actually set up the Poll here, in a new Thread and then I will advertise the Poll on Facebook/Instagram with a link to the Poll.

Everyone happy with the above and these prizes again:

the best guitar will get a $100 Pit Bull Guitars Voucher, 3 Pack EB Slinky Guitar Strings (choice of 9’s or 10’s) and a T-shirt. The runner up will also score with a $50 Pit Bull Guitars Voucher, 3 Pack EB Slinky Guitar Strings (choice of 9’s or 10’s) and T-shirt.

    Thoughts, ideas, criticisms?

If everyone is happy, we can get this happening asap.
    Cheers,

    Adam
