3rd build STF-1

Hey guys, been a while since ive been here, ive had a pretty full on finish to 2017. but now its 2018 and i have my new kit STF-1. i decided to go with this kit as i love my strat but wanted something similar but with more balls. lol
so i bought this kit but i am going for the HSH setup. i ordered a HSH black pickguard and ive got the tonerider octane (bridge) and rocksong (neck) pickups. i also went with the entwistle neodyium single middle pickup, which i decided on aa it was their most power single pickup and i would need a ballsy middle to try and come close to the octane which yes i have tried and highly recommend. the hardware is black nickel colour and is a floyd rose special (not a major upgrade but i believe it will do the trick). i also order black nickel wilkinson locking tuners.
so basically the plan is black body and pickguard with the blacl nickel hardware and clear neck no colour. hopefully she will look good. im so looking forward to it.

update on the guitar first coat is done. alot more sanding to do and painting of course but atleast i know the colour difference between the body and the floyd rose.

hey guys, here is a proper update to were im at as the previous pics were from a few days ago and i was late with uploading pics. ive done the painting and bolted the neck on and now its time to fit the insulation tape for the wiring and pickup areas. a few pics with a rough idea but unfortunately im still waiting on the black pickguard, hopefully it will come soon.
ive also fitted a little but of foam behind the floyd rose so it looks a little nicer.

hey guys, i have a couple of questions.
1) is this correct with the insulation tape or is this overkill?


2) i will have a hsh setup, i am going to have the neck pickup switched for split coil and back, the question and whats your opinion. should i do the split for the bridge pickup also, so when i pull the switch it is SSS and then normal is HSH.
what you think?
