Attached are a couple of picks of my latest kit, an ES12G.
Can anyone advise on the best way to deal with these issues on the veneer. Its going to be a Cherry red stain finish.
Cheers in advance.

Should be able to grain fill that with neutral timbermate. it takes the stain quite well. make sure you sand off the timber mate to the wood with 240 then change to 320 or 360 so you do not sand through the veneer whilst also providing some tooth for the stain to hang on to.
If you are concerned about how it will look, put some neutral timbermate on a scrap piece of wood first and stain it to see how it reacts.
