ID:	24013 has anyone used klein pickups, i saw these online and thought they would look great with what ive got planned. There a bit expensive but could be worth it if they sound right. The others i was looking at were lace alumitone, or maybe frankentone but the youtube demo sounded a bit muddy. I'm really liking the sound of the low output filtertrons in the gr1sf, especially clean or a touch of gain. But being a mini humbucker size routeout the choice is a bit limited. The TV jones and Seymour duncans are over$250 each , any sugestions would be welcome

Ohh they look really nice. Different looking pickups really add an 'x factor' to a guitar. I have some alumitones to go into the SG. Can't wait to fire it up and see how they sound. Very odd looking design.

I'll be interested as well, i have some Lace Dissonant Aggressors for the Silent Build. I imagine they shall be dark and thunderous.

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

Bit the bullet and made a start tonight, cut out the headstock and did some sanding, I'm thinking about using a wraparound bridge if the post spacing works, i did look into a guy in melbourne called mrfabulous who makes a firebird mini pickup which might be an option on the pickups

I haven't tried his pickups, but I won't buy hardware from Fab again. He sells the cheapest of cheap cr@p.
