Just did some maintenance work on my studio PC, this involved using a can of Air Duster I bought from Jaycar electronics to blow out all the accumulated dust and fluff from the computer case, CPU cooler, and case exhaust ports, and putting some new thermal paste on the CPU before re-installing the CPU cooler, now, instead of using some silver heatsink compound that I normally use, I thought that I would try using some Nano Diamond Thermal Compound, also bought from Jaycar Electronics, so, why did I choose to use it rather than the Silver Heatsink compound?, apparently the Nano Diamond Compound is really good at transferring heat, which is essential for keeping your PC's CPU cool while the PC is operational, when the CPU overheats, you'll notice that at best, your computer will perform sluggishly, or at worse, it will have a tendency to crash at random times, so far my studio PC seems to be running pretty well....touchwood.
