    I have the same kit coming to me in Colorado US. I hope I dont have to worry about shipping here. Service has been deteriorating as well. I don't know what the exchange rate is US to AUD but Stewmac has a large stock of headstock veneer. Best to always buy local if you can.

    I ended up staining the headstock rather than use a veneer.

    Sweet! I am going to have to ramble through the threads to see if there are implications of adding 2.3 mm of material to the headstock when considering tuners, nut string height etc. (The Junior was supposed to be a student guitar!) Staining may be the way to go for me also?

    Few thing done one the Junior lately



    Grovers installed



    New bone nut installed



    Neck set - as my first set neck, this was a little scary!



    Wiring harness done - CTS pots and Sprague Orange Drop Cap


    Next item is the GFS pickup I have coming

    Looking really nice mate. That builders string works really well for aligning necks.
