happy day collecting neck fresh from engraver. the hazy spots are burn marks, but they've had a white wash allready awaiting more clear coats.
body is slowly getting flat , with sand/clear/sand/clear etc. taking the nitro coats slowly which is hard

Starting to slowly assemble now painting is done. I think the stock tuners will have to go eventually, bit ugly looking I think.

I'm sticking with all stock parts as its my first build and I really want to experience the PGB standard kit before I try any upgrades later.

That finish looks immaculate, love the colour - and the engraved headstock came out beautifully! Wouldn’t have guessed it was a first time build!

Thanks VonScott, first time building a PBG, not my first time painting although lot ot learn about nitro. Theres many imperections in the finish when looking closely, some flat spots / dry spray around the horns and solvent boil on arch and edges butwe are happy.
My weakness is coming as ive not done any fret levelling and expect issues with pots as they are very tight on one side of control cavity.
hopefully it will play ok and not just look pretty hung on wall
    Cheers Guv and Adam
