I must say that whist a sprayed burst should work, I think keeping the body as it is would be nicer.

happy where its at so far, but still very ambitious about doing a small/ fine black burst to surround the teal, given it was the plan from the onset

Looks great. That color is amazing. And the match on the headstock is pretty solid. For some reason, matching dyes color on different wood hadn't occurred to me. Glad to have discovered that.

Eager to see how your burst turns out.

That’s a great colour. Good luck with the burst; look forward to seeing how it comes out

Practiced some bursting today at work during lunch, but just too hot to keep the fine spray mist wet, came out a bit powdery.

Did some shopping instead for decal paper and fretboard oil which will come soon.

struggling with having to be patient, not a strong point.

Still I love the learning curve.....sure beats stamp collecting....will keep at it

Cheers BG, the further along I get, the more the nerves get a work over. So hoping I dont have to paint it black or sand it back.

wait up, thats a decent song lyric right there lol " hope I dont have to paint it black or sand it back."

btw , I seen your folly build - that timber looks very special - be watchin that one with much envy
