& a soundclip to show it works – although it was recorded on my phone which really struggles with low notes.

    Nice one Billb.

From not seeing any T Birds being built to having 3 entered in the same GOTM is a very welcomed surprise, and all 3 have been presented slightly different to one another.

Makes judging just that little bit harder this month.

Last "real" T Bird I saw was owned by Rob Bailey who played bass on ACDC High Voltage as a session guy before Mark Evans was enlisted.

Rob replaced me in my last gigging band in 1981 when I decided I needed to be a husband and father instead of living the life and getting divorced again, don't know where he is today but he was an excellent player and a lovely bloke.

He stood in with us a few times when I picked up the 6 stringer and the T Bird certainly is a solid beast sonically compared to my 30" Yamaha bass at the time.

Good to see the T Bird making a resurgence.
