Ok, I'll join this months competion.

The Red Widow is all stock except for the self 3D printed TRC and the Q-Parts knobs that replaced the plastic speedknobs.

Hi Kick, as I said in your build diary that looks stunning. You should be proud of your efforts given the number of setbacks you encountered along the way.

The bar for this month's guitars has just risen to a higher level.

    Cheers, Waz

    Hi everybody,
i tried the EXA-1 Ash Explorer as my 2nd build with a guitarkit.
I truoiled Body and Neck as well as the headstock, filed the frets, dyed the fretboard black, made a new Decal out of Overheadfoil.
Changed the Pickups to P90 from Warmann (UK) and replaced the Knobs with wooden ones. Then i robbed my old LesPaul for the Rythm/Treble sign.
Had a loooooooot of fun while oiling and oiling and oiling and oiling....summed up to about 12 or 13 Layers of truoil...

Superb work Kick! Great to see it in all its glory, some nice artsy placement shots as well. Best of luck as it’s another tough month.

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

two more excellent entries well done Kick and SueBue. Love both builds you both made the most of some nice figure and some cool mods.

@ Kick love the backdrop of the rustic old equipment, works well !

After getting a few compliments on my build diary I though it might be worth adding this SGM-1 build to this months competition.

It has the kit Mahogany body and neck
FW Japan Brown stain with satin semi-gloss TO finish
    Grover 102-18C machine head tuners
Set of Belcat BH-20 PU's added to the kit electronics
    Ox Bone nut
Custom headstock 'plate' with engraved name in Golden colour.
