What model Sierra have you got Swanny ?
Dave, this is mine on the weekend, and XR4Ti...

A bloke I know blew a tyre on his WRX and got to meet the armco.

    Very nice.

I was amused at the drivers briefing where they put up the slides with Xs marking the accident black spots, there's no circuit left.

The last car fatality there that I am aware of was a guy going off the top of the loop and downhill into the tyre wall breaking his neck, no HANS.

I had a decent off coming out of T2 at Eastern Creek in August last year when I ran out of talent, thankfully the HANS did its job

Last fatality there was three years ago, but that was a motorcyclist coming down to enter the straight who, as you said, "ran out of talent".

Those open wheelers look like great fun, though you'd have to have your wits about you!

Swanny had a look at the tonewood amp looks intersting. Presume you plug your jack into the device. Hope the amp on the back of the body doesn't get in the way

No, Wokka, it doesn't use the pickups, it allows you to use the guitar accoustically, with effects. It only works with hollow bodies.

Here's a Youtube clip of some upstart trying it out...

Yes, that's US Dollars, including postage and conversion to $AU, it ended up at $366. I ordered it the same time that I ordered the kit, and it took two extra days, coming from Phoenix, Az.

I gave you a bum steer earlier, Wokka!

Unpacked the unit, and decided to try it on my old Maton. The Tonewood amp does need the signal from the pickup, it then transmits it into the body of the guitar so the sound comes out of the sound-hole.

It gives you effects like delay, reverb, and tremelo. I've got a lot of playing to do, to get my fingers used to playing again!
