    I was thinking maybe use nickel hardware? Still the silver colour, but not the shininess of chrome. A denim guitar doesn't really want shiny hardware....

    I poster the above picture to the 'Telecaster Guitar Forum' on FB..... got over 50 positive reactions in two hours from the more serious variety of Tele fans that are out there, so having the feeling I'm doing something right....
