    yep, thats exactly what I used. Armstrong wiring colours are a bit different to others

    I've got one of these. Focusrite Scarlett Solo (also a Presonus Audiobox). Use it mainly for saxophone but recently discovered 'Guitar Rig 4' and no longer require to shell out for a 'real' amp.

    cheers, I have 3 amps, one has a head phone socket and I really have no use for recording stuff, I only play to amuse myself.

    I love that bridge, I may have to do some research and possibly acquire one of those!

    If you want to record to your PC, you can pick up a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for pretty cheap these days, and for software I use Tracktion as it was designed by a guitarist so it's simple to use...it's also free!
