    I'm going to dremel a short channel from the bridge cavity to the saddle stud, I'll solder the ground to the stud, then backfill with wood putty, and paint...sucks because I've already painted and polished, but it may not be noticeable if I do it right.

    Looking at Wierdy's photo, it would be a lot neater and easier to drill from the stud hole into the bridge pickup cavity.

    Or the tailpiece if the posts are in. Either way it won't disturb the paint. If the posts are not in I'd do it that way. If the posts are in already, a hole from any point that will be covered by the tailpiece should do.
