Browne Richards & King ( Them Old Blokes or THOB )

Rather than throw tracks up under random thread titles I decided to consolidate under our working title.

Here is our latest effort High Class a 1950s style rocker written quite a few years ago by Bob Browne with an updated verse added.
    Bob Browne - Lead vocal
    Max Richards - Harmony vocals
    Wes Grady - Pedal steel
Dave King - Bass, rhythm & lead guitars, synth programming, recording, mixing, making coffee, washing dishes etc

No PBG kit on this track but will get the bass and Tuff Dog in future tracks, The Count has featured in the past and will again in the future

Thanks Andy, I've done a massive amount of tightening in the mix and added a much tidier though not radically different guitar solo and also added some more bass & kick but still have a couple of small items that the boys want me to add guitar fills in the first chorus.

Time will tell if it's better or even more of a dogs breakfast

We now have 8 tracks in final mix with another 4 or 5 not far off, then close to another 100 or so originals to get down while we are still on the sunny side of the grass ( I'm just shy of 69 and the other two are both 72 with the health that comes with age )

May sound like a lot of originals but bear in mind Bob & Max have been writing since the late 1960s, Max did a few for Reg Lindsey & Col Joye back in the day so is not bad at his craft, I just throw the odd chord progression at them and give their songs life.

Here's another that is pretty close to cooked.

No One Knows Midnight Like Melinda, a rework of a Max Richards original previously released by his band Men Of Country in about 1974

    https://soundcloud.com/suthol/no-one...ike-melinda-6f

    Max Richards - all vocals
Wes Grady - pedal steel ( played on the original )
    Guitars, MIDI - Dave King

    Recording & production also moi.

PBG STA-1 ( The Count ) - right ch solo ( ya finally got a PBG in there )
    Shergold Masquarader - electric rhythm
Squier Thinline - into, fills & left ch solo
