G'day legends of the Build YO axe community!
After a solid year and a bit of non guitar building (due to the other more pressing building project - the family home), I'm finally back sanding what will soon be a black strat.
Plans are fairly simple. Black stain. Black scratch plate with white pickup covers and white knobs in a semi- Dave Gilmour style tribute. I say semi because Gilmour had a solid black strat not stained (I'd rather see some grain so I'm opting for stain.)
Upgrades will be bone nut and a set of Porter pickups (60s flavour) from the US because I'm incredibly impressed with the humbuckers from them that I put in my 335 last year.
