The bottom of the neck slot on my GR-1SF Lefty doesn't look square. So I'm concerned that surfaces won't meet and glue properly. Do I have to add a shim to make sure? See 2 pics attached.

Wow, no one has given you an answer? I haven't built a GR-1SF but i had some similar dramas with my semi-hollow kit and i just lightly sanded the bits of the heel till i got a snug fit.
