    haha yeah its a messy process the grain filling, but the results are worth it. Once you have sanded it back try not to rub a damp cloth over those areas as it tends to moisten the timbermate and it can come out

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    looks good Barnesy was worth the grain filling. Should feel nice and smooth with your fingers

    Thanks wokka sanded to 120/240/320 , should look good woth some bondi blue stain

    The ebony timbermate has definitely darkened the blue and stoped the yellowness of the basewood showing through

    A bit late, but for the truss rod cover you could have stuck 5 layers of veneer together (with the underlayers glued at an angle to each other for strength) to make up your own veneer ply.

ID:	20796final intensifying coat, super happy with the colour. So far 1 stain coat which i kept rubbing in over an hour or so period unitil i ran out of stain, and then 2 intensifying coats. Still unsure about the quilted top and weather to go straight naughty oil or do a sanding sealer first
