great demo Brokin, good version of Sultans of Swing. What pickup setting was that on ? It's got a lovely tone. As you said worth upgrading tuners, bridge and put a bone nut on now and it will be a sweet axe. Those city limits are great hey

Thanks Wokkaboy. the tuners are the grover locking tuners, so i can cross them off the bucket list. so yeah just the bridge and nut i beleive. but hard to know which bridge to get as there are a few different types. would you know which one i should upgrade to? did tou upgrade your bridge?
with what setting i had it on i would say number 2 if you count the bridge as number one and the neck as number 5. so the bridge and middle mixed i think it is and yeah lovin the city limits pickups

Echo comments of all others before me.

Very impressed if you just picked that song up when doing the demo. Classic song and also a very classic sounding guitar. Sounds as good as any made in USA version or at least very hard to pick the difference from that demo.

I'd do a bone nut 1st as that will make a huge improvement.

Hmmm, bridges, so many to choose from and some that cost lots of money too. Have a long hard look at how everything sits and how sturdy the metal parts appear. Sometimes replacing the saddles might be enough on top and then maybe the tremolo block underneath as some folk seem to think that makes a lot of difference. Not to me though as I never use a trem and just load em up with a full set of springs and then screw the claw in nice and tight. Improves sustain outa sight but no good if you want to play whammy.

thanks Waz. i never thought of that. i could just replace the saddles. i have the bridge sitting up a bit but yeah i never thought of tightening it up and playing it that way. i honestly dont have the whammy bar in the bridge. i havent really used it and really wasnt planning on using it. ill give that a try and yes ill definately replace the nut.

Check this out as the base (rear edge) of the bridge needs to sit flat and flush on top of the body which means screws in front of saddles don't have to be screwed all the way home....
