The team have replied to my email and suggested I wrap some electrical tape around the bushings before inserting them... before I answer their email I thought I'd get a second opinion, I'm not convinced that would work in the long run... a temporary fix yes, but I am hoping for a bass that I will own, play and enjoy for years to come and not have to worry about the bridge randomly pulling out one day.
It's turned out to be a major downer having waited for this kit to become available again.
I've tracked down some bushes (inserts) with a larger diameter... I could 1. Wrap electrical tape around the bushes supplied and hope for the best 2. Drill out the holes slightly to accommodate the larger inserts or 3. Take the larger inserts to an engineer mate to turn them down to fit the original holes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

They are listed as back in stock on the website. I would recommend getting a new one....and asking them to check the size of the holes and the bushings before they ship it to you.

The electrical tape is never going to work....too much force from the big bass strings...will pull it back out of the body.

The large diameter ones do sound like a good option. Check their measurements and ask around as to how much you need to get a nice fit. From my measurements.....right up high on the taper on the business....against the hole....about 1.5 to 2 mm difference will work well. Do the black coloured pins screw into the bigger bushings....and are the new bushings black too....you can see them. Maybe a quick spray with some good auto rattle can matt finish.

You need the bushings to have the vertical ridges to grip the holes....turning them down will not produce that...and make it really hard to get them to grip.

I do not like three point bridges at all, but they are what fits and comes with the kit. You will have a compromise on string height to avoid buzzing on the frets. With the radius of the fingerboard making the E and G strings sit high over the fretboard so that A and D strings can clear the frets in the middle of the fingerboard.

I wish you luck with this...and hope you get an outcome that gives you a kit that you CAN play for years.

Thanks ozz, such a shame my build has come to a screaming halt over 3 little holes.
I'm hoping they'll send a replacement body, or larger bushing... I've searched far and wide and haven't been able to find bushings that are both larger and have the vertical splines.
Or ditch the 3 point bridge all together and go for an upgrade.

Would you know what is the headstock angle on this kit? Cheers

Mate took these pics for you. Not really clued in enough...or keen enough...to measure the neck angle accurately.

But here are some pics of the headstock and neck.
