    RCA 4 jazz/ bridge pickup?

    Hi
    Silly newbie question, sorry.
Just got a RCA 4 for my son. Been reading about shielding pickups and not really seen an answer to my wondering. The jazz bridge pickup is open on the top so is it worth the bother of shielding the pickup cavity? Hope this makes sense.
    Cheers Deg

Have to agree with Stan as I didn't shield under the PUP's on my J Bass but did lay down some copper foil all over the surface of the control cavity.
