    Soz guys, I am planning on staining. These pics are just a reference for my own brain to visualise the colours.

    no worries Pabs, not sure if a blue or green stain will work as well on mahogany being quite a brown timber

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Yeah, I was wondering how those colours would go, so I tested it out




    Obviously, these aren't the exact shades I'm aiming for, but they both seem to work quite well.

    I think green works better as a stain - my blue vote was more based on it as a solid colour (I'll be keeping that blue pic as a reference for a future build!!)
