Great work on those fret markers. How did you cut and round the ends? Was it just a case of filing and sanding and being very careful, or is there a trick that I'm missing?

It's a case of making the insert and doing the end to fit the inlay channel.
    Fine files and careful sandpapering

Thanks Richy, it was the first or second fretboard I had made, and the first attempt at inlay.

Just struggling through fret re-crowning at the moment. Hopefull have that completed tonight and then fix up the wiring and shielding and get it making some noise!

FYI All, don't ever bother with cheap eBay FR trems. I have had to cobble together one functional unit from 2 cheap units sold as a bundle. not sure what I expected for 29.95, but i certainly got what I paid for. NEVER AGAIN.

If the neck plays as nicely as it's promising the Froyd Lose unit may make way for a Babicz or and Actual FR.

Well this one went south in a hurry...

The inserts for the neck screws pulled into the basswood body when I tightened the screws.
This allowed the screws to go way too deep in the neck, which has pushed the fretboard loose at the heel end.

I will disassemble and assess the carnage. Horror pics to follow
