yeah pretty good service really. I can order bike parts from UK and got them in 3 working days. Yet to get Australia post to get something to eastern states is usually at least a week

In the UK you've normally got a wide range of delivery options offered by most suppliers (post and courier) and you can almost always get something delivered the next day (sometimes at a premium) or the day after that (at minimum cost) if you order early enough in the day.
Normally only issues if you live in the remoter Scottish highlands or islands.
all good if you live in the Scottish highlands you would just crack a bottle of single malt and wait haha

Even then it's normally only one day extra, so one bottle would suffice.
Jup! Very thin veneer!!
My build suffered the thin-veneer-demon as well... Still recovering, though!
Looking forward to follow your progress.
Gutted, it landed here Wed night in Coventry of all places, since then has been in transit.... went to work early this morning for a change, got there looked at the tracking e-mail only to find out there was an attempted deliver at 07:55, Made excuses to get home at lunchtime thinking I could nip to the local sorting office to collect it only to find out there is no note through the door, so i don't even know if it was Royal Mail did the delivery.
The tracking goes a bit fuzzy when it hits the UK. 'Attempted delivery' probably means they've processed it and now sent out the 'duty to pay' card in the post, which hopefully you'll get tomorrow. I've had the same thing, and being in at the time, knew it didn't happen.
Got the letter through this morning about 11:45 am... it's in the local depot about 15 mile away, damn place closed at 12:00, didn't realise that and nearly got a speeding ticket going too... So Monday it is... I'll be there for opening time, bring the little wonder home and drool over it, will only do a quick inspection of everything, travelling up to Aberdeen Tues early hours so will leave it till I get home before anything is done...
Anyone got any advice on Wudtone? As the body and neck are mahogony I know they have to be sanded and filled... Wudtone can supply a colourless filler with the kit which apparently goes on with the 2nd base coat... anyone used it?
