Hey Doc, Got your PM thanks , good advice as allways.

Havnt touched the amp yet, apart from looking inside with a torch. I figure I could take the steel case of safely and inspect the tubes without opening the unit or get close to the circutry.

On the same day I also got a Boss Gt-6 which has kept me occupied learning how to drive it , good fun.
Also started looking into a speaker for the tube amp and a DIY cabinet of some sort. keep spending money i havnt earned yet...lol
