Hello, Hope everyone is doing fine. I have a couple of questions about applying DingoTone:
Can you do a darkening stain to highlight the grain, then sand it off and then apply a lighter color for contrast? Or should you just use the color of chose on a flamed maple top without trying to bring out the grain?
How is Dingtone used if you want a really dark back and neck and sides, but you want a lighter or different color top; say a black back & Neck with a reddish brown top. How is something like that achieved with Dingtone? Would you have to purchase several different color kits? I see most of all the pictures shown using Dingtone have the entire guitar, back-sides-and top all the same color. How about if you want to do a burst, can Dingotone be used?
By looking at your videos on applying Dingtone, I understand there's no sanding between coats and no wet sanding involved, is that correct?
