Hi Thijs, welcome to the forum.

What shade of green were you considering? Light, bright lime green or more towards dark emerald green? Obviously it will be hard to find the exact colour off the shelf and will probably require mixing some blue & yellow stains/inks/dyes. I have successfully used fountain pen ink on a Red J Bass but saw there was also an emerald green ink colour available. Also used cyan blue ink jet ink on another build and have pondered several times whether to buy some yellow and experiment to find a desired shade of green to use on a future build. Not sure you can get them in your part of the world but Ubeaut dyes or Keda dyes could be worth investigating.

    Thanks for the advice Wazkelly!

I work at a interiorbuilding-company & we also paint everything ourselves. I'm trying to get the color of a transparant green 1996 Les Paul Classic. Might also be used on other years & models, I really don't know...

I'm getting help from a colleague in using pigments to get the right stain-color. So hopefully I can get the color spot-on.
