Ultimately it will depend on interest and the capability of the manufacturer in terms of what the can alter. Adam may be able to provide more detail.

Hi goodkingzog, sorry for missing this. We did ask about 8 strings a while back, and not a chance I'm afraid. They just don't have the hardware, or understanding for that matter.
