    Cool Howdy from tropical Queensland

    Howdy all,
The name here is Marcel and I'm in regional Queensland a just few km South of Rockhampton.

I am awaiting delivery of my first PBG kit being a LP-1SSP (with P-90's)... which will be my 6th kit build and will bring my collection of guitars up to 10. The other kits started as just cheap builds for fun and to learn, but things are starting to turn this hobby into what some would call an addiction...Also have bits for a Alder Tele with Rosewood neck partscaster build arriving about the same time so number 11 will not be far behind. Number 12 will hopefully be a ES-1GT.

So, as you can see I have plans.... how they work out is yet to be seen...lol...

    Rgds

The name is actually French, but yeah, I was born in Melbourne Australia to Dutch parents from Geldrop and Hesse.. They emigrated to AU back in the late '50's... so despite then talking Brabanse occasionally we all have Aussie accents...

Yep, I've got GAS that has been banished to my 9mx12m tin shed man cave...lol Only two axes I'm permitted to keep in the house are my Gibson LP and Fender F-25 acoustic. Not that I mind, as I can get as loud as I want out there and the wandering fingers of primary school aged grandkids that visit from time to time can be managed far better this way.

If you guys are interested I do have some mug shots of some of my previous kits/builds/rebuilds, but none of them are PBG. They range from AU$77 cheapie fleabay kits through to classic(near antique) '70's ply bodied recovery rebuilds.

Still waiting for my PBG LP-1SSP to arrive. Hopefully that will be early next week.

    Some of my 'heard'...

The JB is made from Linden wood (also is my family name) stained Rosewood colour. Thumb rest and chrome cover only extras added.
The brown strat is a AU$77 fleabay kit.. Ash body stained 'Golden Oak' colour with Fender Tex-Mex pups and Fender bridge.
The Tele is a AU$109 fleabay kit. Alder body and Keda powder dyes for colour, and Yibuy Pups.

All play reasonably well and all sound half decent considering the cost....
