SOLD - Pit Bull Guitar – EXG-7A – Transparent Honey

    Hi all,

I am thinking of parting with my pre-finished Pit Bull Guitar – EXG-7A – Transparent Honey... looks awesome!

I also installed a Entwhistle Dark Star Pick up in the bridge.

I paid $350 for it not long ago... there is nothing wrong with it just don't play it now I have a couple of nice Schecters.

In great condition - would take $100. Also added some Cobalt Ernie Ball heavy gauge strings to it.

This is the beast here: https://www.pitbullguitars.com/shop/...sparent-honey/

I also posted what it sounds like here: https://soundcloud.com/user-940579060 (this was before I installed the new pickup).

    Cheers, Paul.

Yeah, doesn't seem to make sense but I saw one at a jam session a few months ago and they are like a 6 string bass in that the fret board is wider and you have the option for 2 strings thicker and lower in tone than the low E where some of the tones do crossover to the higher Bass register - for example the 8th string could be tuned to G and therefore same pitch as G on a Bass however being a shorter scale the string will be thicker than a typical 0.45 or 0.50 long scale 34" Bass string. It was a Schecter and sounded quite dark, probably what a baritone may sound like, and not my cuppa tea but would suit anyone into death metal type stuff.

Haha yes I know... might just stick to the 7 string if no one is interested... I went and saw Meshuggah last week and felt inspired! Man they are brutal live!

I picked up an MMM-1 Ibanez baritone (28.5" Scale) off Flea Bay, definitely dark and angry when played dirty. Clean it up and it sounds rather brooding and soulworn. Great fun to thrash.
