    A number of my bands played Husky RSL one Saturday night a month from 1973 - 1981 many happy memories of those days

    Sadly being an old fart this is often the case and even sadder is that most who have been born later will probably never know what it is like to play live 6 nights a week for years on end

    I didn't realise what "hard working musician" meant till I came over here and did the clubs and pubs circuit - some of the distances between gigs took my breath away and some of the venues were, simply put, shitholes. For the most part, though, the audiences were pretty good.... as long as you played what they wanted to hear!! Can't remember ever doing the NSW central coast, though I'm sure we must have at some point, eh!!
