    Hey Andy40, I like how the squire strat turned out after having the mods to it, the colour looks great on it, you'll notice that the hum you get with single-coil pickups will be mostly gone, the two humbuckers won't have a drastic effect on the tone of the guitar, other than making it sound louder and fatter, with less of the ear-piercing treble that single-coils are notorious for, will be interested in hearing what it sounds like if you're planning on doing a demo.

    Also, good stuff about getting into pickup winding too mate.
