Just thinking out loud, but you could always continue the knife graffiti work and do it over the whole body, but in a more artistic way so that it all looks intentional. You could then even clear coat over it, or run a wash of black paint over the body (rather like detailing a model plane or tank) then wipe the surface so that the graffiti lines come out dark, and then put some clear over it.
