Due to visit my bro later this year - he was keen to make a breadboard this way with me. I might make 2 and one might not quite be right and might need some more work.

ok got the pine pieces cut lastnight. It's photo we placed them on our chopping board jig and got them arranged how the patterns look good. 2nd pic clamped all sides. Last pic how the raw blank looks !
The pieces moved a bit while the glue was drying so got a fair bit of sanding to do. We got a circle pattern bottom centre should be a feature with a knot in the centre.
At this stage firat one will probably be a tele shape to see how it looks. Next one we will do some more shaping. Might put a nice elbow cut on it, will see how the grain looks.
I'll post some pics once its sanded flat. Hope to get the rough body shape cut and maybe the neck pocket routed too.

Beers the magic ingredient Woks have you tried to use as finish. No I don't mean spilling it all over surface when drinking lol.
Haha yeah KB beer makes average jobs more fun! Won't be using a beer finish unless someone leaves corona haha

got a bit more done todaz. Got a very rough sand so I could cut the rough tele shape. There's a pic before it got butchered by the bandsaw. Now I will route the neck pocket and finish cutting the shape and sand the rest flat. Fun times. Got a spare rosewood strat neck to use. The headstock shape is still a paddle so can decide the headstock shape. I might order a black hardware kit for it. I'll post some comparison pics with chrome and black hardware later
