For a long time I have avoided looking too far for a good kit guitar. I am one of those who even though a new guitar is
in shipment.. I can't seem to stop looking for that "next, something a bit different". At present I have 3 of my guitars
in various stages of dismemberment. Jumping between a different finish to electrics. oh yeah: A Blues Hawk is on the way.
So my wanderings and curiosity has lead me in the pursuit of a worthy semi hollow which has lead me to this forum.
These Pit Bull guitar kits seem to be centered on prompting me to making a purchase.. Iam needing to allow my checking account to cool down first!

Hi there Ikeus and welcome! Take your time. The ES-1s make a good semi-acoustic guitar. They are lighter and have a more resonant body than a real 335, so I'd suggest nothing too powerful on the pickup front, but stick with vintage PAF styles or humbucker sized P-90s and you'll get a nice guitar.

No; I built a Jem "clone" and a strat..Both have different electrics than the kits provided.
Ha!! I am starting to collect my own Guitar parts warehouse.. A corner of my living room has 8 necks that I'd pulled off of cheapo clones for replacement and have whittled down a number of em for better playability.
