    novice newb Perth, WA

Hi to all budding and accomplished builders,

I have been looking for a hobby for some time , and started watching Ben Crowe at Crimson Guitars on youtube.

Found the art of Luthiery fascinating . He then did a kit build to see if he could make something `great`.This led to searching for kits and was pleasantly surprised to find Pitbull Guitars, A little research showed these kits to of great quality and Adam has great reputation. Being based in the same city also allows me to support a local business .
Order placed and today the unboxing took place of LP model, mahogany body with spalted maple, and mahogany set neck. most impressed with quality, neck is perfect fit in neck recess, so this weekend will be test assembly and then let the sanding commence....

welcome to the forum Essbee, good to have another Perthite onboard !

You made a good decision to buy a PBG kit.

Start a build diary and ask any questions there and we will guide you through the build process. The spalted LP kits look amazing !

Welcome along Essbee - hope it goes well - as Wokka has said - start a build diary and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hi Essbee from what I am guessing is another SB!

Don't forget to do a build diary. If you are unsure, it's a great way to get advice and it's easier for others to spot any potential problem areas.
