    Guild X-79 and X-702

I had a Guild X-79 (the black sparkle) I bought in a pawn shop for $150...awesome guitar...the lead guitarist in ourband (I'm the bass player, but this was my guitar for playing around) loved it and would play it on BOC tunes (especially Godzilla)...anyway, cool metal guitar...lots of fun...and rare...got poor and had to sell it, and will kick myself forever.

Looked long and hard for its bass sibling, the X-702, but they are SUPER rare and I haven't had a serious shot at one...

"If it's Blues music in a bar and it helps people swallow their drink of choice, or it's a dance song and people get up off their chairs and shuffle their feet, or it's a Jazz tune and the Chardonnay tastes so much better... then it's all good."

Now that's an interesting beast. It would have to be a pretty sizeable body blank! I reckon you could just about get the shape (slightly scaled down) out of a chopped up lefty explorer body - except for the lower horn.

Yep, the short horn with the PUP selector switch is the only bit that would be missing otherwise very close indeed.
