I think the idea of fan-fretted instruments has been mooted before, but there was uncertainty about the factory's capabilities and QC for it.

I'd like to see it, based on Dingobass' recent brilliant builds, and perhaps the tolerances for bass would be more forgiving than guitar.

I think Ads has considered them, but the language challenges may be insurmountable at the moment. That said, the range of multiscale instruments that are starting to come out, I figure its only a matter of time.
