    This is a pretty cool themed guitar, some nice work getting around the challenges it has put up - this will look amazing, nice job

    Thank you very much Stan. I certainly hope it all comes together well in the end. It's been fun so far since this has felt like an bonus experimental project made from various improperly filled orders.

    After a bit of a hiatus I'm back on my guitar projects. Tonight the wipe-on-poly finishing begins. The first coat was easy enough to apply. We'll see how the process unfolds.

    The wiping continues... after the first few coats and sanding I was getting a little nervous about how it was looking but I just kept on repeating and sanding with finer grits. Things are looking good now and I think this might just give a pretty decent finish in the end.
