    A sneaky peak at some finish work from over the weekend. Don't want to give away too much as it's a bit of an experimental look at the moment and I'm concerned my build might end up in the ugly guitars thread! Haha

    Looking darker here with the lighting in my work cave but you get the idea. Looks matt finish here as I just gave it a quick steel wool after 4 clear coats last week. 4 more clear coats applied yesterday bringing the gloss up.

    And EDIT for those helping earlier in the thread, I confirmed yes there had been a sanding sealer pre-applied to this kit so water based stain was never going to work for me.

    wow I missed this post, excellent work again Cade, love how the pickguard, control cover and truss rod cover stand out.

    I'm going to have to read your post how to print the graphics and what sticky decal paper to order !
