Hi Overlander, the DT Green is a bit light too and you would have to use something else if you wanted things to end up like this PRS...

Yeah, I wanted Green initially for my LP build, but after getting the kit, I just had to go natural.
I spoke with DB about a really vibrant green, and he was working on one, but I'm not sure how he went with it.
His comment was "It would make the Incredible Hulk envious!"
This was my first goal...Also from PRS.

Hmmm the more I see the variation in greens on some if the ash bodies. The more I'm steering away from the green plan...

I like the grain pop as achieved here by Waz I think with the ebony grain filler...

    Ad then the red...

So now I'm leaning towards maybe an ebony grain filler to get the gain jumping out, and then a few coats of the DT blue to get it a bit darker, than this hopefully....

    Too many choices...

Now you're talking. Definitely was ebony timber mate and works a treat on Ash but probably not so good on Basswood or other tight grained timbers.

You could always ask DB to brew you up a double strength Bondi Blue and with Ash being an inherently darker timber than what looks like Basswood on the blue Stat body above it might turn out ok.
