    Cabronita?

Don't know if this has been suggested before and I know you already have a heap of tele's available, but I would love to have a crack at a cabronita.

Rear routed controls, pickup cavities for humbuckers and a set of retrotron style pickups like on the GR-1SF kit.
I prefer the solid bodies but could be done as a thinline too.

Found a pic of a body that shows what I mean, could also do a single pickup version.

For this one I simply got a Wilkinson hardtail bridge from GFS and routed out the PUP cavities with a multitool and a very sharp chisel.

Should add the vintage Schaller HBs are bigger than the current ones and also the Filtertrons / Fidelitrons

Not a strict Cabronita, Dave, as it hasn't got the rear-routed control cavity (or sometimes a reduced-sized control plate) with only a volume control and Gibson-style pickup selector (or volume and tone controls for the single pup versions).
